The Found Family Crew

Kelsey is the creator, business-kobold and artist behind Found Family Adventurecrafts. With years of experience as a 3D production artist and lead in toys & collectibles, they took a leap of faith and started their own art business.

Emily and Kelsey met as roommates in college and have been inseparable ever since! Emily supports the business with illustrations and in-person during events. If you see the Found Family Adventurecrafts booth in the wild, you'll likely see both of us!

When she isn't helping out FFAcrafts, Emily stabs people repeatedly with needles (for her job as a tattoo artist).

    Erik and Kelsey were married in armor at a fantasy/TTRPG themed backyard wedding in the PNW, complete with board games and pouring rain. Erik is a huge support with the 3D printer, and uses his accounting skillset to help Kelsey not fall into the Caverns of Despair.

    With the power of family, anything is possible! In-person event and physical fulfillment stock is hugely assisted by Mom & Dad Adventurecrafts, who moonlight as print technicians and quality assurance specialists when they're not being the best parents ever.

    Found Family Adventurecrafts is made possible by the power of Winston the hairless rat terrier, Jubilee the chihuahua, and Xena the cat. Jubilee (pictured above) is the inspiration behind the FFA kobold design.

TTRPGs are for everyone.

We have always gathered to tell stories. When we sit down for game night, we are continuing a a tradition that predates us by hundreds of thousands of years. What took place at the communal fire now takes place around the table, or even through our computer screens.

Tabletop roleplaying games are transformative. They allow us to be collaborative, creative, and to challenge ourselves. They help foster connections between us, creating community in a modern world where we feel more isolated and polarized than ever.

For many of us, game night is a sanctuary. In these safe spaces, we are able to explore and express ourselves fully and truly. Our stories are personal, sometimes heart-wrenching, often-times hilarious. There is a magic to the stories we create with our chosen family, natural and deeply human since time immemorial. We simply have to remember to share that magic.

Found Family Adventurecrafts' mission is to celebrate the joy of creating - and in doing so, support and uplift accessibility and inclusion in tabletop gaming.
